Nextband is focused on helping our clients make successful acquisitions. Making an acquisition is complex and requires substantial forward thinking and strategic planning. We believe in building an acquisition foundation based on a defined strategic vision, from which we determine our specific acquisition criteria for prospective candidates. At the same time, we help our clients develop a compelling rationale to persuade an acquisition candidate to pursue such a course. Knowing the challenges associated with the integration of acquisitions allows us to identify potential integration risks and advise management of ways to mitigate foreseeable challenges.
Based on the direction established in our strategic acquisition plan, Nextband works with our clients to develop a target list of potential acquisition candidates. We contact prospective candidates with the goal of developing a group of interested sellers. We work with our clients to screen interested sellers, to establish an acceptable range of offer values, and to craft an appropriate transaction structure. We represent our client in the offer and negotiation stage as well as during the due diligence and closing process. Nextband believes that a proactive and systematic approach to the acquisition process will result in a greater number of attractive alternatives, more favorable acquisition valuations, smoother integration of targets, and generally a more desirable strategic impact on the client’s operations.
